Exploring Regionalism
Stan Lundine, chair of the NYS Commission on Local Government Efficiency and Competitiveness, meet with Chautauqua County education leaders at CLCS in Dec. 2007. Now the Commission has released its final report, 21st Century Local Government.
The report argues that substantial savings can be achieved through State and local actions to streamline services and revamp outdated local government structures.

Stan Lundine is former Lieutenant Governor of New York, serving under Governor Mario Cuomo. He has also served as the Mayor of Jamestown, New York and as a United States Representative. He currently serves on the board of Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua County, New York.

ASSET Consortium
Chautauqua Lake Central School has joined with neighboring districts to form the ASSET Consortium of schools. Together these districts are considering ways to share services or employ a regional approach.
