You are invited to join Girl Scouts! Who: Girls in Pre-K going into Kindergarten 2022-2023 School Year

What matters in Girl Scouts? 

Her Dreams—Girls love Girl Scouts because it's where they call the shots. Girl Scouts are learning about robots, hiking, painting murals, feeding the hungry, and even writing laws to change the world. 

Her Growth-This is where your girl can relax, knowing she's accepted for exactly who she is today and all she can be tomorrow. At Girl Scouts we don't focus on perfection, only her potential. 

Her Success—With her group (called a troop) of Girl Scout sisters by her side, your girl will reach further, work harder, and bounce back faster. Get ready to see her shine like never before. 

If you are unable to attend the recruitment but would still like to join the troop please log onto: www.gswny.org and click Join – scroll down a little and click the Join Girl Scouts button. A new page will pop up and click Find Troops, put in your zip code and search. You will be joining troop #20039. Once your daughter's registration has been accepted the leader will get an email with your information and will be contacting you. The cost to join is $35 (it will cover until September 2023) but Financial Aid is available. Volunteers are also welcome, you can also register at www.gswny.org

The Girl Scout program can start early for Pre-K girls who are registered from April to September before entering Kindergarten in the Fall. Pre-K girls are welcome to attend some or all of the following events! Attendees will learn about Girl Scouts during each session and are encouraged to join as a member. Dozens of dates and times available! 

• April & May: Make New Friends Kindergarten Readiness series 
• April through August: Adopt-a-Farm 
• June: Unicorns, Rainbows, and Ponies series 
• July & August: Virtual Events for Pre-K Girl Scouts 
• May through August: Monthly mail-home activity packets
