On January 19, the CLCS Boys and Girls Track & Field teams were able to sharpen their skills by participating in a clinic at the University at Buffalo. This clinic was conducted by the coaches and athletes from UB. They worked closely with CLCS students and helped them learn by doing the skills they were trying to perfect.
Forty-one of our athletes and four coaches were able to take part in this event and they each learned from very skilled coaches and athletes. This four-hour clinic taught conditioning and strengthening skills, as well as instructed coaches and athletes in specific Track & Field events.
This was a great experience for our Track & Field teams to learn in a fantastic facility. CLCS coaches and athletes are so grateful for this opportunity and CLCS administration's support of the clinic. What the athletes and coaches learned was invaluable and will be an asset to CLCS athletics.
Go Thunderbirds!
