Working with our school doctor, legal advisors, and input from our school community members, Chautauqua Lake CSD has developed two preliminary graduation plans. The selection of a final plan depends on the continued guidance and direction put forth by New York State and our area health officials. 

The first plan centers around a controlled, outside, on-campus ceremony utilizing vehicles to ensure proper safety requirements and social distancing guidelines are being followed. The date for the outside, on-campus ceremony will be Thursday, June 18th at 6:00 p.m. with a rain date scheduled for the following day. 

Virtual graduation with all commencement aspects being pre-recorded will be the second plan. Specific guidelines and procedures for the outdoor ceremony will be provided directly to graduating seniors and their families.

Student and staff safety will continue to be the district’s primary priority as we finalize our commencement plans.
