The Board of Education of the Chautauqua Lake Central School District currently has a vacancy.  The Board is looking to fill this vacancy by appointing someone qualified to serve on the Board of Education under the New York Education Law and Board Policy #1120.  Qualified applicants seeking appointment to the Board of Education for a term that will expire on the date of the District’s Annual Meeting / Vote in the spring of 2023 should submit a letter of interest to the District Clerk, Ms. Heidi Martin (hmartin@clake.org or 100 N. Erie Street, Mayville, New York 14757).  Any letter of interest must be received by the District Clerk by 10:00 am on December 21, 2022.  The newly appointed board member will be required to attend New York State mandated Board of Education member training.

Interested applicants should notify the Board Clerk in the letter, why he/she desires to serve on the Board of Education.

It is the board’s intent to fill the vacancy via appointment in the near future.
