Chautauqua Lake District App

Along with more traditional methods of communication, the District has designed and developed a mobile app that can be installed on your Apple iOS and Android devices.  The app is available for free in Google Play or the App Store. Simply search "Chautauqua Lake Central School District" when looking for the app. 

The school app is designed to give district residents, parents and guardian’s basic information about the district.  Most icons or buttons will link to existing web pages on our main website, allow you to contact the district using a form and, most importantly, receive notifications from the district.  These notifications work the same as other types of apps that run on your smart devices that alert you to news, new posts, changes you want to be aware of, etc.  The app notification feature can be utilized for quick reminders about school events for parents, guardians or community members who are interested. The app currently allows you to sign up to three different notification categories:

1. District - This category is checked by default, district-wide notifications
2. Secondary - Notifications pertaining to grades 7-12 and the Secondary School
3. Elementary - Notifications pertaining to grades PreK-6 and the Elementary School

There is also a webpage with links to each app store and more information about the district app.  

The app is a great tool for enhancing communication with our community about school functions they may want to attend but in our busy lives often don’t remember without that quick reminder on our device.

PowerSchool App

One of the benefits of PowerSchool / Parent Portal single sign-on feature is that you can download the PowerSchool Mobile app from the Google Play or the App Store and connect to the CLCS Parent Portal.  To install the app on your device, simple search "PowerSchool Mobile" when looking for the app.

The app will ask for the following settings to connect to Chautauqua Lake Central School:

• District Code:  TQQW
• Server Address:  ps.clake.org
• Username and Password:  use your PowerSchool / Parent Portal login credentials
