There are no day-to-day changes in drop off locations.

For safety reasons, only 2 (two) drop off locations are permitted other than your home, and schedules must be consistent week to week. Varying schedules will not be permitted except in emergencies. If there is an emergency, you must make arrangements to pick your child up at school. 
 

Late Bus Notice

At 4 p.m. CLCS Late Bus is offered on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

Any students planning to ride the late bus on a given day must sign up in their school office by 2 p.m. that day, electronically, using the Google Form. No late bus requests will be accepted after 2 p.m.

In the Secondary School Office, color-coded sign up sheets are just inside the door at the office. Students use the color-coded sheets designated for Ripley or CLCS transportation. Please be sure to use the correct sheet when you sign up for the late bus!

Each student must print his/her full name and the name of the teacher or other adult with whom they are staying after school and must also have a bus pass signed by the teacher who will supervise them after school. Without this information, and the signed bus pass presented when boarding the bus, the transportation department cannot accept the late bus request. 

The Ripley Central School Transportation Department reminds students from that district to please sign up on the Ripley list if you want to ride the late bus home, for any reason. They need to know how many students will be riding, in order to send the proper capacity vehicle. 

Ripley Central School may add special late bus runs for certain sports seasons or other activities. Pick-up for the 4:05 p.m. late bus is in front of the school by the big flag pole, as usual. Pick-up for later bus runs, if offered, will be in locations TBD.

When after school and evening activities are canceled, all late bus runs are also canceled.
