Parents, please remind your child to follow the Bus Safety Expectations.
Our buses continue to be "Bully-Free Zones." Teasing, put-downs, bullying and harassment will not be tolerated on any school bus.
Do not lose your bus privileges!
Be Respectful | Be Responsible | Be Safe |
---|---|---|
Listen to and cooperate with the bus driver | Observe daily school rules | Eating or drinking on daily bus runs is banned |
Sit in assigned seat, if given one | Do not mess with or damage school bus property | Keep hands, head and feet inside the bus at all times |
Use appropriate language and inside voices | Listen to and cooperate with the bus driver | May not possess or use tobacco products |
Stay in your "own space" | Remain seated and keep hands to yourself while the bus is in motion | No flammable materials (lighters, etc.) |
Do not bring pets on the bus | ||
No glass objects are allowed on the bus |
Each child should have a backpack to carry papers and books. Children must be able to hold their backpacks or gym bags on their laps. Anything larger is prohibited on school buses. This also includes large musical instruments, such as tubas, French Horns, drums, etc.
It is imperative that an adult be present at each bus stop location in order for any Pre-K and/or Kindergarten students to be dropped off. The bus driver must be able to see the adult.
Our goal is to provide the safest possible transportation for our students. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
