We are so proud to announce that CLCS wrestlers have qualified for the NYSPHSAA state wrestling championship!

Brendan Ramsey (138 pounds Section VI Champion) and Martin Olhsson (99 pounds Section VI 2nd place) have both qualified for the tournament. Hunter Harris (120 pounds Section VI 3rd place) was also selected as an alternate. 

The 2020 NYSPHSAA State Wrestling Championships will take place on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, February 29 at the Times Union Center in Albany. Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. on Friday with wrestling beginning at 10 a.m. On Saturday, there are two sessions of admission. Championship Finals will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Chautauqua Lake Wrestling team performed very well at the qualifying Sectional Competition and we are excited to see how Brendan, Martin and Hunter will perform in Albany.  

CLCS will be having a send-off for the three wrestlers Thursday, February 27 at 10:45 a.m. 

A special congratulations goes out to Coach Rowe, Coach Fairbank, Coach Joslyn, Coach Gibbs and the entire Chautauqua Lake Wrestling team on a great year!
