Water Advisories Lifted
May 13, 2021

The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services and the Village of Mayville announced today that the water conservation order in effect since Thursday May 6, 2021 and the boil water order in effect since Tuesday May 11, 2021 for customers served by the Village of Mayville water supply are now lifted. Water samples collected on May 11 and 12 show that the water is safe to drink and use for all other purposes. These orders were needed so that the Village could install a permanent water pump in new well #4 to replace the temporary pump installed in December 2020 during a water emergency.

The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services would like to thank all affected water customers for their cooperation and patience while the water conservation and boil water orders were in effect.
