Meals served at school feature fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Revised nutritional standards are in place for fat, saturated fat, trans fat, sodium and minimum and maximum caloric levels for different age groups.  The changes — part of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act — add up to healthier food choices for our students.

We ask that you encourage your children to try the vegetables of many colors and the whole grain breads and rolls that will be served.

Your school cafeteria is providing good nutrition today for healthier futures.  All à la carte sales meet healthy snack guidelines.

Breakfast and lunch will be served FREE OF CHARGE to ALL students, regardless of income, for the 2023-2024 school year due to Chautauqua Lake's participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
