Chautauqua Lake Central School uses MySchoolBucks, an online service allowing parents to manage students’ school meals online. MySchoolBucks is also linked in the PowerSchool Parent Portal, where parents may also check student grades and attendance history for grades 3-12.
MySchoolBucks provides parents with a FREE account to monitor cafeteria purchases and account balances. You can also pay* for your student’s school meals online using your credit card. You do not need to make online payments to view your student’s purchase history or account balance for free.
Families can set up their MySchoolBucks account to receive an email when the student’s balance is low, so they know the balance should be replenished. Letters are sent weekly to families owing $5 or more.
The “Smart Pay” option allows you to schedule automatic payments to your student’s meal account. Funds will be added when the balance hits a specified amount. Simply choose the “Setup Smart Pay” option, and customize your account to work for you!
MySchoolBucks uploads student meal account data at 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. each school day. Following each day’s breakfast, lunch and Late Day Café purchases, you must wait until the day’s purchases load in the system at 5 PM. Please keep this in mind when checking balances.
All information exchanged on MySchoolBucks is protected by the highest levels of internet security, and all content is 100% compliant with COPPA (Child Online Privacy Protection Act) rules and regulations.
The first time you visit MySchoolBucks, you'll need to set up an account for you and your children. To set up an account, visit MySchoolBucks and Register for an Account. To do this:
Remember, for each student you will need this information:
Once you have signed up, you may monitor your child's purchases and account balance. You can also fund your student’s account via the MySchoolBucks website or mobile app, which is available for Apple and Android devices.
The Cafeteria Manager is available throughout the school year to answer questions and to assist families with student meal accounts. Even families whose students qualify for free or reduced price meals may appreciate the convenience of monitoring student accounts through MySchoolBucks. Of course, parents may still call the cafeteria to check account balances.
We hope you enjoy the ease and convenience of MySchoolBucks!
