Chautauqua Lake Central School District students and staff will contribute to a supportive and positive environment that promotes integrity, tolerance, and respect for self and others. We focus on constructive community interactions and the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).  Our curriculum and instruction seek to create student-centered learning environments that affirm cultural identities, foster positive academic outcomes, develop students’ abilities to connect across lines of difference; elevate historically marginalized voices, and cultivate critical thinking. The District continues to foster longstanding relationships with community organizations like the Chautauqua Institution and the Hebrew Congregation Social Justice and Holocaust Education program capstone experiences to assist in meeting our DEI objectives. Our professional learning communities and shared decision making teams work towards embedding DEI elements in the overall instructional environment for the betterment of all our students.
