Voter Qualifications

You are qualified to vote if:

1. You are a United States citizen, and;
2. You are at least eighteen (18) years of age, and;
3. You have established the Chautauqua Lake Central School District as your legal domicile (permanent residence) OR you are a registered voter in Chautauqua County with your domicile address within the school district.

Absentee Ballots

The Chautauqua Lake Central School District located at 100 North Erie Street, Mayville, NY 14757 is required by law to have absentee ballots for the December 15, 2020, vote. Applications for absentee ballots for voting on the 2020 Capital Construction Project may be applied for at the office of the School District Clerk.

Any such application must be received by the District Clerk (i) at least seven (7) days before the date of the vote, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or (ii) the date before such vote if that ballot is to be picked up personally by the voter. 

Absentee ballots must be received in the office of the School District Clerk no later than 7 p.m. on December 15, 2020.
