LEGAL NOTICE

CHAUTAUQUA LAKE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given by the TAX COLLECTORS of the Chautauqua Lake Central School District that having received the Tax Warrant and Tax Rolls for 2023-2024 school tax collection will begin September 1, 2023.  Taxes may be paid in person Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m.– 12 p.m and 1– 4 p.m. excluding legal holidays at the Town of Chautauqua Community Municipal Building located at 2 Academy Street, Mayville, NY.

School tax payments may be mailed to the following address:

Taxes may be paid or postmarked on or before September 30^th without penalty.  Tax payments received October 1 through October 31, 2023, 2% penalty will be added.  Tax payments received November 1 through November 3, 2023 a 3% penalty will be added.  AFTER November 3, 2023, all school taxes remaining UNPAID will be returned to the Chautauqua County Office of Finance with additional penalties for collection and re-levy to the 2024 County-Town Tax bill.
