For many years, Chautauqua Lake Elementary School has utilized Second Step to provide a social emotional learning curriculum for students in grades k through 6. Our school counselors deliver weekly classroom instruction that helps children learn social-emotional skills such as responsible decision-making, working together to solve problems, managing strong emotions, and getting along with others. These skills can help children succeed academically and socially.
